Flagler Museum Palm Beach Receives Recognition
The Chamber of Commerce for the Palm Beaches held their Annual Business Awards this past week. The Chamber of Commerce oversees much of northern Palm Beach County also to the Town of Palm Beach and Singer Island. It encompasses the best of the best of business in a variety of categories.
For 2015, the Arts and Culture Non-Profit category, Flagler Museum in the Town of Palm Beach took the title. It is an honor to be recognized when there are many places to choose from in the Palm Beaches. Last year’s honoree was the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium.
As a registered National Historic Landmark, the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum Palm Beach is a renowned attraction. The Town of Palm Beach Estate set on the massive parcel of land on Cocoanut Row. Whitehall as it is known, offers tours throughout the year by esteemed Docents. It is a well-known spot for historical education and tourist attraction.
With many transitions underway to Flagler Memorial Bridge and the Royal Poinciana Plaza and Playhouse; the history of Whitehall Estate remains intact. It is still recognized well over 100 years of being an active estate. The Flagler Museum continues to keep the Town of Palm Beach a remarkable historical place.
