Palm Beach Policemen’s Ball

On Saturday, January 16th the Annual Palm Beach Policemen’s Ball will be held at the Mar-A-Lago Club on Palm Beach Island. This marks the 10th anniversary of the event and to celebrate that milestone, the theme is “Miami Vice” with a Palm Beach spin. The event’s purpose is to raise money for the Palm Beach Police Foundation and pay tribute to the Palm Beach Police Department’s officers and non-sworn employees.

The Palm Beach Police Foundation is an organization that accepts and manages tax-deductible gifts that benefit the Police Department and its employees and their families.

Supporters, friends, police officers, and employees from the Town of Palm Beach Police department as well as Town civic leaders and members of the Town Council will have an entertaining and exquisite night and make this Palm Beach Policemen’s Ball one to remember. The event will begin with poolside cocktails with a steel drum band, followed by the presentation of colors, a dinner, and entertainment by the dance band Rhythm Collective.

Various Awards will also be presented through the night. Town of Palm Beach philanthropists, Kathryn and Leo Vecellio, will be receiving the Tenth Annual Palm Tree Award for their charitable involvement in the community. Furthermore, a deserving officer will be presented with the “Officer of the Year Award” and a $5,000 check (sponsored by Iberia Bank) by Palm Beach Director of Public Safety Kirk Blouin.
