Tommy Hilfiger Moving To Palm Beach

A staple in the fashion industry, Tommy Hilfiger is making major real estate moves, and has set his sights on making the Town of Palm Beach home with the recent purchase of a $34 million oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. Hilfiger is also looking to off-load a $27.5 million mansion in Golden Beach, a beachside town nestled in an elite area of suburban Miami-Dade County.

Located at 100 Casa Bendita in Palm Beach, the six-bedroom, six full and 2.5 baths mansion with a triple car spaced garage and swimming pool has well over 200 feet of sandy, Atlantic Ocean beach front. The Palm Beach Board of Realtors® have listed the finalized sale as of May 1, 2017.

The home was under the control of the estate of the late English businessman Lord Anthony Jacobs, and sold by Eberlein Holdings Inc. Palm Beach records show Lord Jacobs applied for permits, in care of Eberlein Holdings, to build the estate in 1995. Construction of the 13,773 square-foot home was completed in 2008. Jacobs died in 2014, and his wife, Lady Evelyn Jacobs, died soon after in 2015.

Villa Deniz LLC, is listed as the buyer on the deed; the same company that owns Hilfiger’s Golden Beach home. J.P. Morgan financed the sale with a $27.2 million mortgage, listing Joseph M. Lamstra as the treasurer of Villa Deniz LLC. Lamstra is an investing partner with Hilfiger, and founding managing partner of Sandbridge Capitol.

Although The Palm Beach Daily News reported Tommy Hilfiger is the buyer, and Linda Gary, of Linda A. Gary Real Estate, represented the buyer and confirmed her role in the transaction to the newspaper, she has declined to comment on the details of the transaction or the identity of her client.

The listing agent was Lawrence Moens, of Lawrence A. Moens Associates, who originally listed the home for sale for $39.5 million in November 2016.

In February 2017, Hilfiger and his wife, Dee, put their tri-level Golden Beach mansion on the market. The home is located at 605 Ocean Boulevard, and the Jills team of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage firm holds the listing.
