Bringing Flavor to Palm Beach

Calling all Town of Palm Beach food connoisseurs! September 1^st will mark the kick-off of the month-long Flavor Palm Beach – an annual event that combines fine dining and giving back to the Palm Beach community.

Flavor Palm Beach highlights over 50 restaurants in the Palm Beach area including our Town of Palm Beach who will offer affordable, packaged lunches and dinners to diners while donating a portion of the proceeds to the Palm Beach County Food Bank. In addition to local restaurants, the event also partners with various organizations such as Uber, Junior League of the Palm Beaches, The SunSentinel, The Palm Beach Post, and more to bring a little zest to our area while raising money for a good cause.

The impetus for this event started in September of 2008 when Briana B. Beaty, the creator of Flavor Palm Beach, took inspiration from Miami Spice and New York Restaurant Week and planned a similar event for the Palm Beach Area. When asked why she chose this particular format, she said “we have amazing food in the Palm Beach area so, why not bring this type of event here? “

Flavor Palm Beach allows diners to visit any of the participating restaurants on the list. Upon choosing a restaurant, diners will have the pleasure of experiencing delicious, three- course lunches for only $20 per person and/or dinners for $30- $35 (excluding tax, gratuity, and beverages).   Those who wish to dine at any one of the 50 plus restaurants simply have to visit the Flavor website and make a reservation. Walk-ins are certainly welcome to enjoy this opportunity; however, making a reservation on the website guarantees a donation to Palm Beach County Food Bank. As an added bonus, if you use Uber for your transportation needs and type the code “Flavor2015”, a portion of your Uber fare will also go to the food bank.
