Town of Palm Beach Construction and Traffic 7/18/2016

(1) FLAGLER MEMORIAL BRIDGE: Construction will continue on the Flagler Memorial Bridge.

(2) SOUTHERN BOULEVARD WATERMAIN RELOCATION: Construction will continue on relocating the watermain along the Southern Boulevard Bridge. Should not impact traffic.

 (3) TOWN SQUARE: The inside northbound and outside southbound lane on South County Road will be closed to traffic. The work involves drainage, sidewalk, curb, landscape, hardscape and associated improvements as part of the Town Square Phase II Project. Should be completed by 08/29/16.

(4) SIGNALIZATION AND MAST ARM IMPROVEMENTS ON NORTH COUNTY ROAD: The southbound and northbound outside lanes of North County Road from Park Avenue to Royal Poinciana Way will be closed for the removal and installation of sidewalk and curb. Pedestrians will be routed around the sidewalk and curb installation at the signalized intersections of Sunrise and Sunset Avenues. The eastbound lane of Sunrise Avenue at the intersection of North County Road will be closed for the demolition and installation of sidewalk. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.

(5) RIDGEVIEW DR. AND CHERRY LANE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS: On Ridgeview Drive between North Lake Way and North County Road drainage improvements will continue with curb removal and replacement. The contractor will coordinate impacts to driveway access with residents. On Cherry Lane between North Lake Way and North County Road, drainage construction will continue. Traffic will be directed by flaggers and construction signage. • There will be “no access” onto Cherry Lane from North County Road on Monday, July 18 through Wednesday, July 20. • The road will be closed at 212 Cherry Lane and access to 212 will be from North Lake Way on Thursday, July21. • The road will be closed at 222 Cherry Lane and access to 222 will be from North Lake Way from Friday, July22 through Saturday, July 23.

(6) LAKE TOWERS UTILITY UNDERGROUNDING PROJECT: there will be periodic lane closures on Bradley Place between Atlantic Avenue and Dunbar Road. Traffic will be directed by flaggers.

(7) FPU GAS LINE REPLACEMENTS: Installation of gas lines, gas service connections, abandoning of gas lines, road restoration, and milling and resurfacing will take place on the following streets. • North County Road between West Indies Drive and Fairview Road • Ocean Lane at North County Road • Brazilian Avenue between South Ocean Boulevard and South Lake Drive • 100 block of Australian Avenue • The intersection of S. County Road and Peruvian Avenue • 200 Block of Via Tortuga • 89 Middle Road west of South County Road. Traffic will be directed by flaggers

(8) WELLS ROAD AUSTRALIAN PINE TRIMMING PROGRAM: This work is scheduled between July 18 and July 22 and involves the trimming and shaping of the Australian pines on Wells Rd. There will be one lane closed during the trimming and advance warning signs, flaggers and traffic control devices will be present to assist with traffic flow.

 (9) TOWN WIDE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED SIDEWALKS: This project involves the removal and replacement of individual sections of cracked or damaged sidewalks. The following streets and roadways will be affected. • South Ocean Boulevard • North County Road • Via Marina • Royal Palm Way • Gulfstream Road • Clarke Avenue • Middle Road • Main Street • Hammon Avenue • Sunset Avenue • Peruvian Avenue • Seminole Avenue • Chilean Avenue • Everglade Avenue • Australian Avenue • Wells Road • S. Lake Drive • Park Avenue • Brazilian Avenue • Seaspray Avenue • Cocoanut Row • Sea Breeze Avenue

(10) TOWN WIDE REPAIR OF LINE STRIPING AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS – This project involves the repair and/or replacement line striping and pavement markings which were identified as deficient during the annual inspection of the markings. There will be limited lane closures and periodic blocking of parking stalls. The following streets and roadways will be affected: • Ibis Isle • Peruvian Avenue • Island Road • Four Arts Plaza • El Bravo Way • Seaspray Avenue • Gulfstream Road • Seaview Avenue • Hammon Avenue • Seabreeze Avenue • Sunrise Avenue • Mediterranean Road • Onandoga Avenue • Root Trail. Flaggers, advance warning signs and traffic control devices will be present to assist with traffic flow.
