Town of Palm Beach Summer Recreation Information

With summer approaching right around the corner (although for many it might feel like it’s begun) the Town of Palm Beach Summer Recreation Information is available. Here are some ways to enjoy the hottest time of year.

Just on time to make your Summer more enjoyable, the Town of Palm Beach is offering a special tennis relay program during this upcoming season. Through the Seaview Park Tennis Center and Palm Beach Recreation, there will be a “drop in session” for only $5 per person. You can participate in the fun during the afternoon from 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm. This is valid from June 1 all the way through September 30th.

Besides the bonus tennis drop in, there’s a way to detect if it’s rain or shine with the Palm Beach Recreation Department. The RainOut line helps you detect weather related interferences. The phone number for RainOut is 561-299-3636. You can also obtain the weather information at rainoutline.com. There, visitors can subscribe for updates to make sure your tennis day isn’t interrupted by the weather conditions.

The summer hours for the Town of Palm Beach Tennis Centers are as followed:

  • Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center
    • 8:30 am – 12:30 pm (No days specified)
  • Seaview Park Tennis Center
    • 7:30 am – 8:00 pm (Monday through Friday)
    • 7:30 am – 6:30 pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center is located at 2001 South Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach, FL 33480. The phone number is 561-227-6450. According to the globaltennisnetwork.com, Phipps has 4 clay outdoor tennis courts available to the public. Phipps is located right by the Palm Beach Par-3 Golf Course towards the south end of town.

Town of Palm Beach Summer Recreation Information

Seaview Park Tennis is located at 340 Seaview Avenue, Palm Beach, FL 33480. This is not too far from the private university, Palm Beach Atlantic University in Downtown West Palm Beach. The phone number is 561-838-5404. According to globaltennisnetwork.com, Seaview has 8 outdoor clay courts, which is open to the public.
