Eau Resort and Spa Ranked Best on East Coast

New, exciting results from a survey headed by Condé Nast Traveler’s publication came out on Tuesday. Exciting, because it only furthered the notion that Palm Beach is an ideal vacation location.

The Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards ranked the 309- room Eau Resort and Spa in Manapalan as the number one resort on the east coast of Florida (including the Florida Keys). The surveyed population were made up of a group of travelers who had previously visited the list of 25 resorts. They assessed the resorts based on location, dining, activities, rooms, service, and design.

“The Palm Beaches are America’s First Resort Destination®, so it’s no surprise that one of our premier resorts is being recognized for its quality,” explained Jorge Pesquera, president and CEO for Discover The Palm Beaches, the official tourism marketing corporation for Palm Beach County. “Genuine hospitality is a way of life here, and more and more people are discovering why The Palm Beaches are the best way to experience Florida.”

When asked what distinguishes The Eau Resort from other resorts, Public Relations Manager, Nick Gold, replied, “Each guest room includes a balcony – the largest in Palm Beach County – and features a swinging chair along with a table and two chairs. The ground floor rooms have lanai terraces which allow the guest to walk directly out to the pool/beach area.” He went on to say, “Less than a year ago all of our guest rooms were re-envisioned by the iconic designer, potter, author and part-time Palm Beach resident, Jonathan Adler. Each room channels a ‘Capri meets Santorini meets Palm Beach’ vibe.”

The resort has grown tremendously since their fairly new opening. Gold added that earlier this year, Eau Spa was awarded with a Five- Star rating by the Forbes Travel Guide. A prestigious award that he says fewer than 50 spas around the world have earned.

Three other Palm Beach County Resorts were listed in the top 25, including: The Breakers Palm Beach (Number 5), The Four Seasons Resort (Number 8), and Boca Beach Club- Waldorf Astoria (Number 20).

“We do expect more guests to visit The Palm Beaches in the upcoming year as a result of this recognition,” he continued. “With record-breaking tourism seen so far this year, we are on pace to break even more records and welcome even more visitors in the near future. Accolades such as the Conde Nast recognition helps us shine the light on the unique experiences that make this destination the place to visit and enjoy the time of your life.”
